Fleetwood & Fylde

Fleetwood & Fylde was formed in 1965 and although this branch remained small they were still able to support each other and also organised support for nautical charities.

The final chain of office is from Merseyside branch formed 1934.

One of their members Janet Dunbar, wrote a short history of The Watch Ashore to celebrate the Silver Jubilee of the organisation. Merseyside branch campaigned vigorously on behalf of Britain's Merchant marine and many letters have been written to local Members of Parliament.
